Cash is king. You'll need cash to shop in the marketplace, play some games and for various other things in the game such as moving prisons.

Earning Cash

There are a CRAPLOAD of ways to earn money in Prison Block. Here are a few examples:

  • Search The Yard: In New Jersey, searching the yard is free and you can do it up to 100 times per day!
  • Do Crimes: Successfully completing crimes will net you cash
  • Play Games: You can play games in the game room to earn cash
  • Mug Inmates: If you successfully mug another inmate, you can take cash from them

Some players also offer loans to new players, however DO NOT BEG OTHER PLAYERS FOR CASH! It's annoying. So unless they offer it, then don't bug 'em!
