When you sign up to Ancient Realm, you will have a character with some basic stats and attributes. The basic attributes are as follows:

Contents

Attributes

HP

HP, traditionally short for Health or Hit Points, is a representation of how much health you have, and how much you can possibly have.

Your HP goes down when you are hit in battle. You lose a battle when your HP hits 0. You can increase your max HP by leveling up.

Energy (NRG)

Performing certain actions (like battles) requires energy. You can think of it as your power to act. Without energy, you can not do many of the actions needed to move ahead in the game.

Energy is usually displayed as ##/##. The number to the left of the backslash indicates how much energy you currently have, while the number to the right indicates the total amount of energy you can have. There are ways in the game to increase your max energy, such as Amenities and leveling up.

Replenishing Energy: 10% of your energy is replenished every 5 minutes (20% for Respected). You may also replenish energy with various Items.

Nerve (NRV)

Performing certain actions (like battles, mugging and some Flash Games) requires nerve.

Nerve is usually displayed as ##/##. The number to the left of the backslash indicates how much nerve you currently have, while the number to the right indicates the total amount of nerve you can have. There are ways in the game to increase your max nerve, such as Amenities and leveling up.

Replenishing Nerve: 10% of your nerve is replenished every 5 minutes (20% for Respected). You may also replenish nerve with various Items.

Stamina (STM)

Your stats are limited by your stamina. You are at your best when your stamina is at 100%.

For example, if you have 1,000 strength, but are only at 50% stamina, then you effectively only have 500 strength when it comes time to battle or do any other action. Keep your stamina in mind when you go to do actions!

You can raise your stamina by leveling up or by placing certain items in your cell.

Replenishing Stamina: 10% of your stamina is replenished every 5 minutes (20% for Respected). You may also replenish stamina with various Items.

Experience Points (EXP)

You must earn experience in order to level up. Experience can be gained from killing monsters or fellow players. This measures the amount of experience points earned to level up your character. The higher your character's level becomes, the more experience is needed to gain the next level.

Your Experience is usually shown as ##/##. The number to the left of the backslash indicates how much experience points you currently have, while the number on the right indicates how much EXP you need to advance to the next level.

Stats

Agility

Agility is one of the most important stats for battling and grinding. The more agility you have, the faster and more often you hit the opponent!

Strength

Strength is another important stats. The more strength you have, the more damage you will do to your opponent with each hit.

Evasion

Evasion is not the most important stat, because it doesn't work every time.. The more evasion you have, the bigger chance you will have to evade hits from an opponents (no HP lost at 1 hit)

To gain stats

  • One of the fastest way to increase stats is by training at Crystal Creek> Legend Stone/Evasion training, but you can train there only until you cap your stats for your level, then must increase your level to be able to train more stats.
  • Another good way to gain stats is buying potions at Crystal Creek > Potion Shop, you can buy 5 potions a day for 100,000 gold each.
  • Also, You might try your luck praying for stats at Shadow Church and if you are a donator, you might win extra stats by using your donator tokens in the donator token challenge.
  • Another way to increase Strength and Agility is by using 50 nectar + 100,000 gold. This increases agility AND strength by 5 points each time.
  • The last way to increase stats is by using AP. 10 AP can increase a stat by 0.5 points.

Race Level

Race level gives you special powers from the race you're in. Max race level is 10. You can find each race's special powers at game's help files > race descriptions!

To gain Race Levels, you may use opals at Silver Meadows Blacksmith or go to the Race Library located in Crystal Creek and earn race experience from reading books. There are 3 different types of books and each book will give a different amount of experience at the cost of a certain number of energy.

Gold

Gold is the game's currency. You start with 2,000 gold but it can be easily gained in a number of ways. Mining, selling, trading, fighting monsters and other players, and if you chose Orc as your race, you will be able to steal money from the pockets of other players! The money can be used in many things as well, such as shops, upgrades, etc.

Farm

Every player can purchase a farm for 1,000 gold. A farm can be used to make a little extra gold. You can upgrade it to have more space for your plants. The max level you can upgrade your farm is to Level 10. You want to make sure you check your crops every day. If you should sell them on the wrong day, or they pass the day they are suppose to be sold on, you will only get half of the max value of what they are worth. The more acres you have, the more plots you will have, meaning the more plants you can grow.

Here is the table of the crops, how much they cost, and the amount you will get if sold on the right day.

Type Of Seed Crop Price Max Sell Value Day Crop Is Ripe
Carrot 500 1,000 0
Pea 600 1,250 0

Rings

At the moment, there are only 2 rings available.

Ring of Life (RoL)

The ring of life is a ring that allows you to automatically heal you in dungeon. You can find it at the countryside coordinates (12, 14) and it costs 500k.

Before going to the countryside, buy a couple of elixirs from the witch in the old alleyway, so you can revive in the countryside.

Ring of Energy (RoE)

This ring is very useful if you are unable to log on for few days since your energy bar will fill up. When your energy bar is full, your energy ring will allow you to collect extra energy over your energy cap. How much energy it will hold depends on how much you have upgraded your ring. It has the ability to hold an extra 10,000 energy max above your energy cap.

...How to get ring of energy...

You will have to be a member of Shadow Church (simply go to Crystal Creek>Shadow Church and join. You must have 50,000 gold and 1000 battle wins, and a minimum of level 5 to join)

Afterwards, donate to church 25 million or pray every day, until you gain 5000 faith!

When you will reach 5000 faith, the church will have a new option called Talk to the High Priest. Click on it and accept the cost (it will cost you 5,000 faith + 100 strength and 100 agility to accept this quest).

After this, go to countryside and walk around it till you find it. When you have found it, it will be ready to use.

Where to find it in the Inventory

Ring will be at Your Hut > Ruck Sack > Rings > Ring of Energy. By clicking on it you can withdraw or deposit extra energy!!!

How to upgrade it

When you find the ring, it will only hold extra 100energy, so you will need to upgrade it to reach its max potential. Upgrading is possible only at Floating City, but to get there you need to be a member of Shadow Church and have 1500 strength and agility. When you are there, go to Jeweler and take "Special Services?". Then you will see option to exchange something to gain Etherium. Etherium is a gem that gives you extra capacity to your ring. To gain 1 Etherium you need 10 Master Crystals/5 Master Emeralds/5 Master Diamonds/3 Master Rubies + 1 million gold. Every Etherium gives you extra 100 energy capacity to your ring. You can repeat this until your ring is maxed out and can hold 10,000 energy!

Influence

You can gain and lose influence points when fighting with other players. You can also gain influence if, while donating experience to the clan, you level the clan, you will get a bonus of 1000 influence per level. Influence is active ONLY when you are in a clan! Influence helps to raise your clan's influence and raise it to the top of the list under the "View All Clans" link. Each month, the top clan will receive 1 free mining level.

Great Dragon's Eye and Mist chains

Great Dragon's Eye

The Great Dragon's Eye is very useful. You can see other players stats, gold, mythril, nectar, weapon, defense among other useful information without having to pay to scan the player. You can buy this at Mountains of Gardor for 400,000 gold.

Mist Chains

When you have Mist Chains, other people cannot scan you without having the Great Dragon's Eye. You can buy this at Mountains of Gardor for 400,000 gold.

Lucky Charms

Sometimes in the game you see the phrase: "Luck plays a factor", so you character will get some extra luck buy getting Lucky Charms. The way you can get some charms is to go to Crystal Creek's Nectar Shop. To get 1 lucky charm you need 10 nectar + 50,000 gold. Lucky Charm's effectiveness goes higher as you buy more charms. Limit to getting 10 lucky charms, as getting more than 10 will not get you any luckier.

Mercenary

You should buy one right after registering to the game because it can be very useful and cost only 100,000 gold. When you purchase one, you can choose his name and picture. The mercenary's default stats are: Hit Points +10, Agility +2, Strength +2, Evasion+2. By grinding and killing monsters, you gain experience that is also added to your Mercenary's experience, causing your mercenary to level up as you do. Every time your mercenary levels, you receive 3 mercenary points. 1 mercenary point gives you 3 stat points or 4 HP points. The selected stats will be added to your stats when you engage in Player vs. Player fights.
