Cell
From Prisonblock
Your cell is your home at whatever prison you happen to be in. That said, The Wardens actually allow you to customize your cell (for a price).

Cell Size
Every inmate starts out with a 3x3 cell. This means that you can only add as many amenities that will fit into this space. To get more space in your cell head on over to the warden to exchange favors for a larger cell.
Remember though, that each Prison has a maximum cell size. You can only upgrade your cell size to the maximum allowed by your prison. If you move to a prison with a maximum cell size that is SMALLER than your current cell, your cell will be shrunken for the duration of your stay at that prison. When you move back to a prison that allows your full cell size, it will be restored.
Cell Presets
You can set and load cell presets to quickly configure your cell for specific tasks. There are three buttons above your cell layout that assist in this:
The Floppy Disc: This saves a cell preset, allowing you to save which items are currently in your cell and their positions to a name (for example, "training cell")
The Up-Arrow: This button allows you to load one of these presets.
The X: This one will delete your cell preset.
Clear: This will clear you cell of all Amenities.
Max Cell Sizes:
- New Jersey- 6x6
- San Quentin- 6x7
- Putnam- 7x7
- Arizona- 8x9
- South Dakota- 10x11
Amenities
You can add amenities to your cell. These are various items like TVs, Beds, Books etc. Adding these items to your cell can have a positive (or negative) affect on your character.
Each amenity takes a certain amount of space in your cell which is displayed as #x#. This means it will use # blocks across and # blocks high. Make sure you have space in your cell for an amenity before purchasing it or trying to add it in. Anything that won't fit in your cell will be kept, but will not produce any benefits to your character.
You can add many amenities of the same type, however keep in mind that all effects are added to your BASE stats (meaning without any amenities). For example, if you have 100 strength, and add 2 amenities which add 10% strength, then you will end up with 120 strength ( 100 + ( 100 * .10 ) + ( 100 * .10 ) ) and NOT 121 ( 100 + ( 100 * .10 ) = 110, then 110 + ( 110 * .10 ) ).
Amenities are separated into two diffrent catagories.
- Protected Amenites, These amenities are bought from the warden, rather that be from the warden office, firesale, or through special events (i.e. Joe). These amenites are ammune to being raided.
- Normal Amenities, These amenities are bought through the Open Market and are not protected against raiders. In order for a Normal Amenity to be raided it has to be loaded into the cell.
Normal Amenities can be protected at a cost.
5 of X amenity to protect a very common.
3 of X amenity to protect a common.
100 favs to protect a uncommon amenity.
200 to protect a rare amenity.
250 to protect a very rare amenity.
300 for a almost unique amenity.

Cell Raids
You can attempt to raid the cell of any inmate located in the same Prison as you. If you are successful, you can walk away with some of their goodies (including unprotected amenities). Get caught though, and you'll end up in isolation.
Requirements
- You must be located in the same prison as your target.
- You will need 10 Nerve.
- You may only attempt a raid once every 30 minutes per person.
The Process
To raid someone's cell, you must try to guess their cell combination. This is a series of 5 digits. Click on the dials to change the numbers then click the handle to try the lock. If you are successful you will have a chance to grab items, drugs and/or cash from your target's bank account.
If you are unsuccessful, you may be thrown into isolation for a short time. Theres a small chance that even though you were unsuccessful you may get away before anyone catches you and avoid isolation. Upon returning to your target's cell, you will see your previous combination attempts. Correct numbers will be in green while incorrect will be in red. If your target changes their combination, your attempts will be erased.
Prevention
If someone is trying to raid your cell, there are a couple things you can do to thwart them.
- Change your cell combo. This isn't free, but it can be done from your cell page. The Warden will automatically change your combo (for free) if someone manages to raid your cell
- Get a guard dog. There are amenities that will help thwart raiding attempts, try them out.
- Make your combo harder. You can add characters to your cell combination to increase the difficulty of cracking your code.
- Buy additional security form the Warden, to get some alphanumeric combos. Cell Upgrades
Benefits
If you successfully raid someone's cell, you'll earn experience and may walk away with:
- Items or Drugs they may have
- Cash from their bank account
- It is possible to raid cell amenities, but only those that are equipped AND not "protected". There is roughly a 5-7% chance of getting an unprotected amenity.
